Mount Panorama by 2407 Schlock was the track raced last weekend. This track was raced in memory of Peter Brock, the king of Mount Panorama and a nine-time winner of Australia's most prestigious racing event, the Bathurst 1000.
Double points were given on this track to the racers who 'conquered the mountain' and came to celebrate the life of this motor legend.
Peter Brock represented a shining example that people can achieve their dreams no matter what their material circumstance and upbringing. There are no barriers except the limitations we place on ourselves. He grew up in a small country town with no special benefits and proceeded to live his dreams.
His death on 8th September 2006 shocked our nation. Peter Brock was killed in a rally crash in Western Australia.
Points were close, D2S coming out on top after round 4, with Maniac and Max only one point away and racing off for 2nd and 3rd overall. OLD_mumhra took 4th and RIP_Alpha 5th after both ending round 4 on equal points, involving them in a race-off as well.
Well done to all racers, a job well done.
