Hi there. I used to play MTM2 when I was like 9 years old... *stuff* was the bomb. However Windows 7 and all this newfangled technology hate it.

I have a few things to ask and I was hoping some of you might have some answers:

1. A lot of the scenery objects in the game tend to appear pixelated and half disappeared. This only occurs in Direct3D mode. Is there any way to fix this? I have the latest drivers available on my machine.

2. How exactly do you install PODs? I mean I tried putting them into my MTM2 dir, and didn't work. I tried mounting them using Podini but the tracks and such from those pods don't appear ingame.

Any help would be appreciated, cause I would really like to breathe some life back into this game !

Thanks!

Hey there, welcome to the MTMG.

When updating your gfx card drivers doesn't work, you can always try 3dfx glide emulators. http://forum.mtm2.com/viewtopic.php?t=6714

Well if Podini didn't work you can always try cowpod http://mtm2.com/~mtmg/cowpod/). It has many more features than podini. You probably can't mount POD files either because you are not running Poini with admin. privilegies or you don't have installed the MTM2 2.00.42 patch (http://mtm2.com/~mtmg/downloads/mtm2/game/Mtm2pat.exe)

Basically, you "install" POD files by mounting them via POD.INI, a text file inside your MTM2 dir. Here's more info about pod.ini: http://mtm2.com/~mtmg/podini.html
