I just had a major worm infection which I am just getting over. Had to reinstall Windows and install SP2. After installing SP2 my Radeon 9200 no longer works. I'm running back on the onboard video now, any idea on how to get the card back? It kept coming up with an "No VGA driver" error when trying to install with the ATI exe, but it still wouldn't work after I manually installed them. Any hints/suggestions/solutions? I can still make MTM2 trucks but I'd like to be able to see them in anti-aliased glory in game.

lol, first i thought you actually meant you have heart worms or something like that. But anyway, I had a similar problem with my ATI X1300 Pro, I could'nt get it to work, installing the drivers just wasn't working, so I just reformatted by re-installing windows, then before I did anything I installed it and it finally worked, but I don't think I have SP2, because I have a "Non-Genuine Windows Copy", but I can't really remember but it wont let me install or download anything from microsoft, I need to get a new copies of windows though.

Just got my sound card to randomly work...the PC finally recognized it's PCI slot as a "gameport" and now I have sound again. I don't care how I get it, I just do.

I'm still stuck with onboard video, but I can make MTM2 trucks again, and that's the important part. If anyone has any clue as to how to make the Radeon work, let me know.

I wish I could help, Cale, but I haven't used ATI for a century. I still have a geforce 3. Sorry.

Just to note, you did actually disable your onboard video before you tried to get your card to work right? Some BIOS's are fussy about that.

Thinking about it, my bios has an option for which graphic to use as the primary one. In a two monitor set up it makes a difference which is primary and which is secondary. Add to that, the bios reads backward so that if it says use onboard pci then it boots with agp, and if it says use agp it boots with pci. Also, the settings don't stick unless I do a hard boot - that is, set up the bios, save and reboot to windows, then power right down to nothing. When I power up, then it sticks. Anything else and it reverts to the initial setting.

I've been doing that, and it properly disables the onboard but does nothing to fix the PCI.

Got anything like this in display properties?

On a more serious note, have you tried going to windows update and seeing what drivers they 'think' you need?

Are there any errors or question marks in device manager?

phine makes a good point. Always visit windows update often. because if you go there once, your commited. cause 90% of the updates are to fix previous updates.
