When you usually go to mtm2.com and want to download somethin a pop-up comes up saying if you really want to download it and where to put it. Well last time i downloaded something i accidently un-checked the box that said show this pop-up each time. Now i dont know how to re-check it. It wouldnt be a big problem but my computer seems slower since then and some files i have downloaded have been corrupt and that has never happened before. Thanks for any help.

Either in the control panel or in IE, goto Internet options.

You're concerned with three tabs: security, privacy, advanced.

Each tab has a default button. If you are using defaults, you can't click it. If you are not using defaults, you can. On each tab, click the default button to reset the options to the default. But note, after you click default, you must also click apply (at the bottom). If you don't, no changes are made.

That "should" fix you up. There is actually a very specific place to reset the prompt, but I don't recall exactly where it is. One of those should get you there. If it was me, I'd start on the security tab and try that first.

Try this.

Folder Options (either by the control panel or windows explorer)

File types tab

Scroll down to "ZIP compressed (zipped) folder" It should be at the very bottom or close to it

Highlight it.

Click the advanced button

Check the box that says "confrim open after download"

Click okay and then close.
