Well, as many of you know, I've almost always got something up my sleeve, or something I'm working on. This however, it was not dealing with MTM2. It was dealing with the monster truck industry itself. About a month ago, the opportunity of a lifetime came my way. Checkered Flag Productions was looking for a student to hire onto their workforce. There were four in the running for the position, but only two that stood out. One being myself, the other being Shawn Hancock, formerly known to us all as BAD311. Shawn had been working on the website for CFP for a number of years now, and was given the option to take the job. If he chose not to accept, I would then fill the position. Shawn did however accept the position. I wish him well with this, and I hope he enjoys it. I know there were a lot of things on his mind at the time, and me pushing him to make a decision didn't help. Best of luck to you Shawn.
As for me, it's off to Pittsburgh where I'll supervise the upkeep of the UPS center in New Stanton. It will be a pleasure to return to UPS. Now I just gotta find a blasted apartment.... I thought the hard part was supposed to be getting the job, not finding a place to live.....
Anyway, there's a lot going on in my life in the next few weeks. Course finals at the end of next week, with an R/C truck to be built early the week after, a trip to Pittsburgh, a trip out towards Long Island for an R/C race, and starting work three weeks from now. So needless to say I'll be busy, but hopefully once that's done and over with, I'll be able to stir up some things around here.
