From the very beginning we've been trying to provide the most functionality and the most flexibility, all in the smallest possible space and at the fastest possible speeds. Examples are review links from the track or truck type and pop up images from the size info. Unfortunately, however, this aim when combined with whim and fancy would run into certain, er, obstacles that took acrobatic maneuvers to get around. One bit of silliness was to make the mtm1 trackshots close by the "close" button on many of the screenshots. While perhaps a nifty trick, it was sort of goofy and not always practical when it came to other parts of the script. Another is the auto resize trick for truckshots which is very nice when viewing the pics but not at all graceful when trying to link directly to the pop up pages.
So, with this stuff in mind, I've made a couple changes that appear minor but that should make using the pages a tad nicer.
First, is that linking to truckshots directly will no longer resize the browser window. It will from the download page, but not if you link directly to the pop up page. And yes, this one really bugged me.
Second, is all popups (tracks and trucks) now have a hotspot in the top-left corner. The 100x100 pixel square area in the upper left can now be right clicked and the shortcut saved for pasting in web pages and forum posts. Clicking anywhere else will close the window like normal. And all the full-size pop ups are like this. Trucks, tracks, and the detail enlargement track pics.

Note. This is for linking. If you want to include the pic in a forum post, you'd still have to link directly to the image. For example:

And lastly, just as a reminder, direct links to the detail pop ups for tracks can be done just as easily. Just right click the track title in the table header and save the shortcut.

I don't know if there's a perfect system, and no matter what you do somebody will have different preferences, but so far this is about as easy as I can make it. I hope you like it.
