Ever since I dove back into editing I've had troubles launching the actual game. The error I get is the Unable to open sit file. It is now occcuring before I get a chance to launch and not when launching a race. Every so often after changing pod.ini files I can get it to launch and race fine, but I can't even test changes i've made to projects anymore. When I pod those no matter what it doesn't launch.

I hope someone could help. I don't want to delete the entire directory and reinstall if there is another way around it.

Do you have a file it happens to every time? If yes, let's have a look at it to see if the error happens to anybody else.

Also, what does the pod look like if you open it in winpod or podview?

Is it possible there's a problem writing to your hard drive? Have you checked it for errors lately?

I grabbed the stock pod.ini file from the cd and mounted nothing except the pod I couldn't load and fixmore3. Seems to launch fine. I don't know if that is going to be the end to it. I'll test it later with more files to see.

I think it mainly had to do with the pod.ini file. Before I always hand edited it, but recently I grabbed a pod utility out of laziness. It runs from hand editing the files from the stock ini file.
