Today 5/8/03, 1 month after my grandfather diedon 4/8/03, my father died at the age of 49. He had a stroke which causes a blood colt in his brain which made the stroke keeping repating it self, and put so much pressure on teh brain it moved it back to the brainstem, Everything is fine except hes brain died so once they take him off the machines he will fully be dead. We decide to donate his organs to help others because that is what he would have wanted.

Even a life-long prosperity is but one cup of sake;
A life of forty-nine years is passed in a dream;
I know not what life is, nor death.
Year in year out-all but a dream.
Both Heaven and Hell are left behind;
I stand in the moonlit dawn,
Free from clouds of attachment

sorry to here that matt, i cant imagine what u r feeling right now but i wish u a happy life

<I>Lord, make me an instrument of your peace

Where there is hatred, let me sow love.

Where there is injury.....pardon,

Where there is doubt......faith,

Where there is despair....hope,

Where there is darkness...light,

Where there is sadness....joy,

O' Divine Master,grant that I may not so
much seek to be consoled.... as to console,

To be understood, as to understand,

To be loved, as to love.

For it is in giving.....that we receive,

It is in pardoning, that we are pardoned,

It is in dying, that we are born to eternal life.

Oh man, sorry to hear this. My dad had a stroke and has never fully recovered. The damage those things can do is unbelievable. You hang in there and try to help your family through this. And let us know if you think there's anything we can help with.
