When is the Expo? The submissions site sez March 21st. Is this the deadline, or the day it opens for submissions?

Who will the judges be? Any idea yet? I've committed to a rumble instead of a race, so if there are too many SLO members on the panel I may as well throw in the towel now ;o)

That's the opening day. The closing date is June 21. That's the entire spring. Lots o time.

When it comes to ideas, I'm full of 'em. I was hoping to have this in place by now but when my motherboard went on the fritz, that sorta slowed me down a lot (my files were on the down hdd). Then off line started demanding attention. But I hope I'm getting back on track now. Please bear with me as I'd rather post the complete list all at once rather than a partial list then add to it.

As it stands, there will only be one SLOster (our resident reviewer) and he has no problems with rumbles at all. In fact, he had a big hand in populating the mtmg track page with rumbles so I think there's little to fear there.

And just fyi, we were a little disappointed that nobody did a rumble for the dec99 contest. We had a riot running the rumbles for the summer99 contest and were looking forward to more.

Rest assured, judges will have proven knowledge of the game and the panel will be large enough to cover all tastes and preferences. I pride myself on ensuring objectivity and fairness. I couldn't enjoy it otherwise.

I'll try to have an update by the end of the weekend.

June 21st!?!

It looks like the hardest thing about this track will be waiting that long to release it! LOL! I have created some in a single morning, and I don't think I ever spent more than 4-6 weeks (not counting "shelved" projects). I dunno... am I a speed demon? Maybe I'll work on the race too after all. Any problems with two submissions? Or should I just tweak my rumble and bide my time?
