2 things-
1. What does the error "could not find model IN" mean? I never put IN.bin on my track nor did it exist nor was there reference to it in the lvl, sit, lst files etc... It isn't on the errors page.
Which brings me on to 2. Malibu, you had an error saying the tyres went transparent- this may be due to the texture being decreased to 256 by error diffusion and as it was almost black it made a fine dither of black (transparent) so the tyres went semi-see-through.

did you get that error in traxx? if so it sounds like a new one that could be similar to the "error loading model(s)" one, can you get a screen shot of it? that may help.

On the truck (Mudster by JeepFreak) i don't get any errors or anything in fact the truck runs fine except for the funky lookin tires.

I phrased that wrong- It should be "Malibu, you said the tyres went transparent on a truck you had- this may be due to the texture being decreased to 256 by error diffusion and as it was almost black it made a fine dither of black (transparent) so the tyres went semi-see-through."
My error comes up in MTM2 when I used one of my tracks that worked perfectly before and when I put sounds to my models i got the error. I took the sounds off and it still had the error. I searched all the other files and the C drive but there is no IN.BIN there. I had the error before in ARMY BASE MX-334HK and i created the missing model. It came up with another error saying it couldn't find a different model. I created 5 more missing models and it still didn't work!
HELP!!!

Typically, that's been considered a truck error.

<center> <IMG SRC="http://mtm2.com/~mtmg/Traxx/errors/unexp02.gif" border=0> </center>

Could be a track model error, who knows. Anyway, this gives a few things to guide us.

First, remove all trucks except the stock trucks. It is theoretically possible that there's a truck causing the problem and it's just coincidental that it's shown up when you're testing your track. So, just temporarily dis-mount any addon trucks you have and then give your track a spin. That should tell us something.

Secondly, notice that your message does NOT list the bin file extension. That might suggest you don't have the windows folder options set correctly. Go into windows folder options and uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types". The bummer part of this one is that you have to reload all the models in the track. However, once done, you should be in good shape. You can find the full details about this one here

Finally, the "IN" part is curious. Are you using any models in the track that begin with the letters "in". What are they and what happens if you remove them temporarily from the track. Also, are you using any animated models. Remember, you have to load all parts of an animated model into traxx, then just insert the control bin in your track.

Let us know how you make out.

Mal, thanks for reposting that pic. I think I'll go get that truck and see if it behaves the same on my comp. You're using the geforce and I'm using a voodoo card. Could that be it? Who knows, weird things happen sometimes....as you well know.

Edit. hardly looks like the same truck..'ceptin for the wheels =)

I tried what you told me and like I said... no IN file. I haven't got the hide extensions on and they're not 'known anyway'. It isn't a truck error and i'm still confused.

I fixed the problem by deleting some boxes. I don't know how it worked.
