1. What are klps?
2. How are they made?
3. Why are they only sometimes used?

eg 1. The files with the same name as the wav file but klp extension
eg 2. Is there a program for this?
eg 3. ZooN's Kitchen- Techno6.klp/Techno6.wav- this has both. Twlghtzo.wav- this has one.
WHAT IS KLP???

1. What are klps?

A file that controls the way a wav file behaves in the game.

2. How are they made?

Traxx will make them automatically for you when you use a custom wav file for track music.

3. Why are they only sometimes used?

Depends on what the wav is being used for. I've only ever seen them used for track music files. But I haven't really delved into the matter.

eg 1. The files with the same name as the wav file but klp extension

Yes, as I outlined above. Track name wav and track name klp.

eg 2. Is there a program for this?

Not really. Traxx will make it for you automatically. Nothing else really needs to be done.

eg 3. ZooN's Kitchen- Techno6.klp/Techno6.wav- this has both. Twlghtzo.wav- this has one.

Again, I can only guess that techno6.wav is the track music whereas twlghtzo.wav is not. But zoon does a lot of direct editing of the track files. He may have devised something of his own creating.

WHAT IS KLP???

"Keep Losing Power" lol, I dunno.

Anyway, you can always look at a klp file in notepad. Just open it up and you'll see a few numbers like this "0,0,1" or something like that. Not much useful info in there. But, the game reads them and that's good enough for me.

Hope that helps.
