Seems like you love Windows more than Bill Gates

I'm going to try that DOS stuff, Although I had to use Win98 on VPC to run DOS programs decently

Maybe is a propietary driver.

Not sure about the network thing, I have read some manuals and they say you need to install an update package to support Microsoft Network, again, propietary software.

EDIT: Phin gave me a tip once, I think I'm gong to follow it

I think they should just get married and get it over with :P

Also, if we could introduce a Mac fanboy into this thread, I think we could have a solid comedy triple-act :D

Not sure about that, I never tried older versions of vista (Incredible that vista can be worse lol)

I've seen a mac freeze once in my lifetime, the OS is so stable....mac's are brilliant at photos, video, and music...

I see 3 problems with your solution:
-I don't marry windows fanboys
-I don't marry boys lol, I'm straight
-I don't want to get married NEVER lol

(hmm don't tell my gf that lol, oh wait, she doesn't want to get married either)

*relief* :D

growing Up I had to use Macs at school. Our Imac thingies or whatever (WHy I hate eveything that starts with I-) required us to tape a paper clip to the side of the computer, for quick access to the reset button that was hidden on the side. THat you would have to press about 12 times per use, sometimes more because often they wouldnt boot back up till you reset them a few more times. Basically every Mac I ever had to use was crap. It has been many years now though, the last one I used had OS 9, where our instructer specificually said not to leave certain programs open too long or it will hang the computer. I haven't tried OSX. I have no desire too either, with Mac you are eternally doomed to Apple software. You simply have no choice, all applications exists for Windows and Linux right now. Very few for Mac.

but a Mac fanboy would be fun right now :).

I have never tried a Mac in my life, so I don't know how it works, and those "I'm a Mac, I'm a PC" ads are so lame. Thank god Apple inc. doesn't waste time here in Latin America. There is a lot of HP, Packard Bell and Intel ads here tho

Here, you can't see any macs around, I haven't seen one since 2000, when I brought my first PC, I saw tons of colorful iMacs all around on the store, no one was really interested tho, since they were more expensive than PCs and no one knew how to use a Mac then.

Macs here are pretty unpopular, they have an excellent image, but no one has a Mac, and no one would dare to install Mac OS X on a PC.

Of course, if you are newbie and you don't know anything about computers, it makes you think that Macs are really, really better after watching the "I'm a Mac" ad.

But after watching this video... : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mGrb5Cssmcg

the only thing that you can find here is PCs, PCs and more PCs, most of em with Windows XP UE. This, because PC are cheaper here, and you can find any piece of hardware for PC anywhere. Some new PCs had Windows XP Starter Edition, ultra-lame cheaper version of Windows made for "developing countries/economies" designed for "Low-end" computers. (Although I was bundled with every single PC here, even if you had a quad core, many manufacturers bought this OS to make Desktop computers more cheap) Microsoft thought "our" computers are all lame and slow cuz we're Latin Americans, so we needed a OS cheap and fast so everyone could buy it. It can only run 3 programs at time, "Windows XP for poor people" (although you couldn't buy it anywhere) My bro had that one. Completely annoying.

And most of the emo kids and scene kids here just want a computer to download music, talk in Messenger and have a "Fotolog". So they wouldn't care if their OS can't open more than 3 programs. (LimeWire, Internet Explorer and Live Messenger) lol

edit: here's a very informative page lol http://www.mac-sucks.com/
another one http://themacsucks.com/
