No matter which track I do, and even with the music volume all the way down, I hear slow country music. I think It might've came with the "High Road Low Road" track. But I'm not sure.

Why was it saying I needed 2 posts before I could post URL's /links when clearly I wasn't posting any.

You hear this even when the game is not running?

Have you restarted your computer recently?

Have you tried turning off in-game music in the sound options? Or race music. I'm not looking at my game right now but that sounds like it could be it.

Also sometimes if you leave a CD in mtm2 will start playing it when you go in-game but it doesn't sound like it's that.

Do you have a country music CD in your computer?

It's possible MTM is playing that as the game sound.

Yeah that's what it was! I forgot that MTM2 could play a CD. Its not country music though. Its instrumental mood/relaxing music. The CD is called Essences. I found it a few years ago in a shopping cart or something. I don't think I ever got around to actually listening to it though. I upgraded my PC recently and I put it in the CD drive to make sure it was working. Its my old CD writer that I just use as a CD drive now. I don't have too many CD's anymore and Essences was the first one I found in the drawer. It happens to be the only audio CD I have.

You know, something like that happened to my dad a few years back. He was playing Half-Life, and apparently the radios in the game play music from the cd. Welllll, my little sis had left her Barbie princess cd in, and the radio was playing fairy-tale princess muisc. Not as much fun shooting up marines and psycho aliens with that going...

Ok, this happened to my dad once, and this could be what's happening. One time, my dad's guitar amplifiers were picking up Mexican radio transmissions. They were very weak and full of static, but at some points, they were clear enough to at least tell it was Spanish. I think that your speakers could be doing that. Just a thought...

This reminds me of a letter that someone sent to a video game magazine. This dude bought an A/V cable for his PlayStation, hooked it up & started playing, but then his mom came over to his room & claimed that the game was showing up on her TV.

same thing can happen with small AM/FM radios and CB's, doesnt happen alot any more but back when CBs were the rage, someone close by with a really powerfull one would overpower am/FM signals...

Did you just read the first post(I've done that tooImage)? I resolved it. It was coming from a CD(in my PC's CD drive). I forgot that MTM2 could play CD's. But thanks.

Do you live near the Mexican border?
