I have a few things I would like to discuss with you all today. First, my thanks to everyone involved in the sport. From the drivers to the guys setting up the track I thank you. Those guys work very hard to give us the best show possible. Also, I appreciate the announcers. The guys that pump up the crowd show in and show out. It is important that we just stop and take a moment to thank everyone in the sport. We can't just be greedy fans but knowledgeble and appreciative ones. I hope you all take a moment to think about this. Also, the coverage of the world finals. I hope this is taken as constructive critisim. All shows should be shown at the best of the telivision crews' ability. But of ALL shows, that can be shown the world finals gets the worst coverage. ALL people of the monster jam fanbase should stand up and demand for better coverage of the world finals. I am sick and tired of having these dumb and stupid lackluster highlight shows. And, the voiceovers the announcer, aka Scott Douglas says something as to the affect of this, "I wonder if Meents' can win tonight with Dennis and Creten in the field," when actually he means, "I know Meents' is gonna break an axel next round, but lets stay optimistic and hope people don't notice". Especially, at the World Finals where you get -10000 place freestyle coverage. Also, the voiceovers as discussed before let me play a little game here as their always fun things to do i think

:
1.) "We're gonna bring George Balhan up to the booth": "George Balhan is in studio with us and we're gonna act like he's coming up to the booth".
2.) "I wonder if Dennis will make it back next round,": "Dennis is going to make it back next round".
3.) "Let's send it down to Mark Schroeder,": " We're gonna play a tape from 3 monthes ago of Mark Schroder in the pits of Phoenix with Donkey Kong".
I hope some of us wake-up and stop the nonsense of lousey monster truck coverage. Also, we have to thank the camera crew. Probably one of the ONLY things that they do well. The capture shots for us loving monster truck fans to see. Even though they show it horribly on tv they work hours to put it on even if it isn't a top of the line broadcast. I hope the camera guys see that they are cheated from time to time by not getting all of their great work shown on the SPEED network.
