I have the patch and when i pod stuff it says files are missing. I have the disk and seeing if i leave it and there and have it read it will fix the problem any ideas on what could be the matter.

If I had to guess, I'd say you have a mistake in the pod.ini file. Use cowpod to mount addons and you shouldn't have this problem.
