Post subject: Old Unique Monster Truck-Apocolypse Now
PostPosted: Sat Apr 09, 2005 7:38 pm
A while back I owned a tape about monster trucks. One of the trucks on there that I really would like to see in MTM2. It goes by one of two names. I've seen it under both, so I don't know its true name, but I'd like it nonetheless. It was a truck built from a helicopter design. It was called either Chopper Monster or Apocolypse Now. If someone could point me to where I could find it I would appriciate it. I couldn't find it here or at Malibu's place. And since Beek's Trucklot seems to have quit, I can't get it there either. Thanks for any help.

Heheh that looks pretty cool, kinda dumb yet cool.

I have some helicopter models at the scraps yard that are pretty close to that one... with a little repainting and minor body work it could be replicated perty easily.

in the meantime there are these... helicopter trucks

That truck's body was cut in half and used on a ride truck. An oddball monster, for sure, but that was at a time when people would take anything and monsterize it.

Yeah, thanks woody. I forgot about the pictures at that site. That's exactly the truck. Too bad no one has made that truck yet. Hard to believe that out of all the replica trucks made, old and new, that one never was, and it was quite unique.
