I have Monster Truck Wars on the Game Boy and its not a bad game, shares more with the old Micro Machines and Super Off-Road games than MTM (other than licenced trucks). Monster Truck Rumble is garbage, although it's nice to be able to control the rear steer.

Other monster truck games are:
Monster Jam: Maximum Destruction (2001-2002) (PC, PS2, Gamecube, GBA) which is a mediocre car-combat style game (with 26 or so licenced trucks) on everything but the GBA (which is quite fun!).

Thunder Truck Rally (1998?) (PC, PS1) aka Monster Trucks: Very similar to MTM 1 but without the licensed trucks, has some odd physics, better graphics (not near MTM2 though) and a lame car crush mode. Note: outside of the US this was called "Monster Trucks", but the US name was "Thunder Truck Rally" due to Microsoft and MTM.

Monster 4x4: Masters of Metal (2003) (PS2, Gamecube): A well made sequel to Monster Jam which has solid physics (IMHO), an arcadey feel, and some special moves to pull off. And lots to destroy. Opinions among fans of real monsters are mixed on this one, I, for my own part, love it. Hoping this gets ported to the PC, it would be nice to dig into it and make some new stuff for it.

I have two questions.

To your opinion, what's the best one of all the mentioned ones?
(exept MTM and MTM2)

what is the + bad and + the similar one to MTM2?

:?:

The best? I like Monster 4x4: Masters of Metal best because it has a couple of different types of events, a bunch of real trucks, and a physics engine which allows for 360 degree spins (donuts), wheelstands, and other tricks. Plus there is a lot to destroy, and it just really gives the feeling of the Monster Jam monster truck shows it is based on. Being a monster truck fan, I prefer that, though Rep Fan and others would disagree with me.

Thunder Truck Rally shares the most with MTM 2, it has the circuit and rally modes. Drives the most like MTM 2, but the trucks feel about 2,000 pounds heavier, and they take damage so you can't floor it over jumps like in MTM 2.

Monster Truck Rumble is probably the worst, it just feels/looks/drives cheap. Glad I payed next to nothing for it!

Any other questions, just let me know :)
