Select the one you want to delete, and press delete.

But I don't think you can delete one that's being used as part of a face, you must delete the face first

You can't delete truck parts in binedit, you can only delete the polygons that the truck parts are made of...

Let's say you wanted to delete a rollbar as an example...,

step 1
Press the spacebar to highlight each polygon one at a time. Everytime a polygon on the rollbar is highlighted, press control-x to delete it. DO this repeatedly until all the polygons of the rollbar have been removed. (It takes time, I know...)

step 2
Now, this is important! Go to the pull-down menu at the top marked VERTIX and klik on it. From that menu, select DELETE UNUSED VERTIX'S. This will get rid of any vertix's that no longer touch a polygon.

step 3
Finally, save the modified file under a NEW NAME. This way if you make an error, you still have the original to try again with.

You can use this method to strip a truck for parts. If you just want the engine, delete all the polygons except for the ones on the engine, remove the unwanted vertix's, and then save it as 'SAMPLE_ENGINE.BIN' or whatever you wish to call it.

..Hope this helps....
