some things i would add is,512x512 for 4x4evo(wich you can still use but the textures get slitly unmapped when you resize the 256 to 512 again,

and a click and drag feture for the vertexes,

what would you add

Binedit will never be updated. But if you're talking 4x4, then an export as smf would be the key ingredient. It doesn't really need anything else up front. Behind the scenes could benefit from a few things, but none would be crucial to making the program better. For example, when you click new or exit to be prompted that you haven't saved your work and it give an option to save it before you accidentally wipe out your stuff. But see, anybody who forgets to save, well, lol. How about a timed backup? Or gray out the options that are not applicable when in certain editing modes. Yea, larger textures, but you'd need to be prompted if you're saving to the wrong format. An import filter would be nice that converts all unknown face types to standard mtm type - this would eliminate the unknown face type message (possibly). How about to be able to see animated bins and textures in the program. Lastly, I doubt this will ever happen. OP just isn't into it.

"Binedit will never be updated." ?? Lets hope you eat those words Phineus. Image

The BINedit source code has been released:

Programmers, get on it Image

and yes, support for larger texture sizes would be a priority.

"I've decided to release the source code of BINEdit since I'm definitely no longer working on it." - Oliver Pieper, 2001-02-02

Should I qualify my commentary "Binedit will never be updated" by appending "...by Oliver Pieper"?

I see I'm going to have to choose my words more carefully around here ;-)

And, yes, let's hope I'm mistaken.
