All in all, this is an amazing track, which is an understatement. I really gives off that big city feel, for example, I went all through that dern city trying to find myself somewhere to grab a bite(meaning the McDonalds). I circled the entire city at least 5 times trying to find that place and after about 30 minutes of that, gave up and went into traxx to take a screenshot and use it for a map. Like I said, it really feels like a big city.

However, I do have a complaint. Every comp I've tried to run it on says the track format is a summit rumble. I don't know if this was intentional or not, But I thought I'd point it out.

P.S.: if anyone was wondering, I was using the beta during the part about McDonalds...

Lol. Thanks for all the kind words, I made a city map pointing all the city landmarks and major arteries and highways. But it's made out of version 1.98 I think, so it's outdated and I didn't want to release the track with an outdated reference file.

But it seems like both of you guys just ignored the readme file...

Or any text that I wrote! lol

When I released the beta here in the forum, I explained where it was located both the shell stations and the McDonalds.

and...

EnoCity2 is summit rumble because its a CNR track. a Cops and Robbers track. CNR tracks are set as summit rumbles. I explained why on the readme file of the track (enocity2.pdf)

Quote:
Track type: cops and robbers (CNR) rumble
I decided to set the track to CNR because of many reasons. First of all, city
tracks are very popular in CNR tournaments, and you don’t need to set any kind
of checkpoints (which gives me more models I can use for the city landscape).
Also, in rallies, there’s just one way to go, and by doing that you will miss some
important landmarks of the city. That doesn’t happen in CNR tracks, where you
need to full explore the city in order to chase or run away from your opponents.

You can try the track offline using SLEW MODE (in game type GOLD, then Y, then
Z, then ctrl+L and type ENOCELL2.SIT)

Of course, CNR tourneys were popular again while I was making the track, but when I released it, CNR tourneys were canceled, probably the trend went off again.

the 93 beta has some differences with the official version, beware.

Gage Park Run has many, many missing original track models, most models outside the racing course where deleted to make space for people, arrows, traffic sings and vehicle models exclusively for that course. So that track is different from the original EnoCity 2.

Of course, if you guys feel that you would like to free roam through the city, you can either

- use slew mode to access the track offline
- set the track as circuit or rally with c-pod or traxx (clonning). (Nothing wrong with that cuz the Creative Commons BY-NC-SA license allows to make derivative works by only giving me credit for the original work and keeping the same license for your new stuff, this is, if you guys are planning to release it)
- ask me. i can make a circuit/rally free roam version of the track.
