You see them running in the shadows of the night...

They've been scared and they've been anxious tonight - you see them running with the wind, they Run for the Night.

Hey everyone! This is my third map so far to date. My goal when I started this map was to make the map as fun to play on as possible but still have the AI able to keep up with your actions.

After a few weeks of work, I came to the end of the project. The map is incredibly fun to play on with big jumps and woops as well as enough room to build up lots of speed. The AI does all the areas pretty well and rarely crashes at any point in the map other than the first laps first jump. @.@.

Have fun all! Please give me all suggestions and comments! So I can improve on any future maps!!

Also, shoutout to Rep-Fan for making more than half the trucks in my garage.

I like it but think allowing clear weather would have been okay too. I notice a few models floating in the air, and you can drive around a few of the bumps in the road. But overall, it has the makings of a fun drive. Keeps you on your toes, that's fersure.

Ok I tried it, heres what I thought:
Simple, yet fairly pleasing design. The widenes, and bumps will even out racer skill levels. Good shifters will enjoy the jumps and bumps, while good steering can help you avoid them and come out of corners smoothly. If you weak at steering then the wide track gives you plenty of room to move around and find a comfertable spot. Automatic tranny players should have a good time too, all the jumps knocks you down a gear often, keeping you with the manual players.
Textures were a it scarce, the track wasn't very colourful, permenenat night time weather mask kinda removes some of the fun (i didnt try snow or rain yet).

I overall liked this track. Keep up the good work.

PS.
What floating models? lol, did you go over it with a fine toothed comb? lol.

The grandstand by the start line doesn't sit flat on the ground and I drove under a couple of trees. Nothing earth shattering but enough I thought I'd mention.

Slayer, if you haven't mtm'd in a while, try all the new ones on the '07 page. Good stuff all around.

Thanks alot for the comments!

I noticed the lack of color too slayer, but I didn't feel like re-doing the whole track's textures to add in more. I couldn't find any good transitions from the green that I used to a differant color. The map looked really bad when it was clear weather cause of this, so I made it perminant night time. (it also fit better with the name).

It does kinda take the fun away at times, but at least the map doesn't look super cheesy. O.o

Again thanks alot for the comments! In the future i'll try to make the models closer to the earth. :)
