Characteristic of Alpine's other Craziness, this track, alternatively known as Night GraphiX, sports a few custom textures thrown into the Crazy 98 mix of road, dirt, and grass. The course, of course, winds its way in and out, over and under, and around and through the terrain in a loopy series of twists and turns that keeps you on your toes, but with enough visual clues to keep the driving line in clear sight and prevent you from getting lost. Add to this, some more amazing ground box work from ZooN and you've got yourself a fine looking and smooth driving track.

But that's not all. Alpine, in maniac fashion, has went right to town creating dozens of new bins. In addition to the stock inventory, you'll see animated checkpoints, a new/old helicopter with working prop, a number of new billboards - one wishfully advertising MTM3 - his windmill water tower, road signs with flashing lights, and the mtm garage from driver check-in.

Happily, Alpine has not foisted a weather mask on us, so all that's left now is to drive this track at night to see that it absolutely "glows" in the dark. You name it, and it's lit up. And, believe it or not, with strategically positioned lights, I was even able to complete a successful run in complete pitch black, and do a fast lap of it to boot. Note, however, that you'll have to mount this one above the sound.pod or you'll be driven to distraction by the train sounds.

So, regarding the question of Alpine's mental state, is he deranged, manic, loopy, um, Crazy? The answer: Yes, certifiably.
