1931 Ford model A pick-up (Hot Rod modification)
-SMALL TIRES- format

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This was originally a 1931 Ford body found at a free 3DO model website (no author was listed)

I reworked it with GREAT effort to reduce the vertix count from 17,561 vertices to only 1,975 total.

After the "diet session", I straightened the model and resized it to mtm2 dimensions, chopped the roof for a lower profile, created a new triple-carburator engine and dual exhaust system, covered the bed with a leather soft cover, created and remapped all new textures, including a nice flame job.

The non-1931 headlights were created to hide the tops of the non-removable front shock struts. and the bed-cover hides the rear struts. DAYTON-style wire wheels with disc brakes shod all four corners, and a custom WAV file was made and applied.

A fan shroud was added to the radiiator. Animated textures were applied to the engine's belt, pulleys and radiator fan to simulate rotation. A unique rear axle was applied using a fixed center differential as part of the body model, to give it a 2-wheel-drive look. All lights are functional for dusk and night races.

For best results, use the SMALL TIRES converter pods or use an ST-converted track to get the tires on the ground (MTM2 only likes 6-foot tall tires). It's available at http://mtm2.com/~bigdogge/small_tires.htm , along with other SMALL TIRES format vehicles.

Enjoy!
