The CorrFixST.POD file must be placed at the top of your POD.INI file, above all of the add-on track PODs. Your POD.INI file is a simple text file, a list holding all the tracks and trucks available in your game, including add-on items.

Look in your MONSTER TRUCK MADNESS 2 folder for a file called POD.INI

( If you have filename extensions hidden, then it will just be called POD )

Right-click on it, and select OPEN WITH.......select NOTEPAD.

A stock POD.INI file (with no add-on trucks or tracks) will look like this:

---------------------------

19
STARTUP.POD
music.pod
sound.pod
truck2.pod
cockpit.pod
ui.pod
tpark.pod
alaska.pod
junk.pod
crazy98.pod
snake.pod
main.pod
aztec.pod
outback.pod
rockqry.pod
baja.pod
summit1.pod
summit2.pod
summit3.pod

-----------------------

If you have already added more trucks and/or tracks, you will see them listed below "summit3.pod". The number at the top is the quantity of PODS listed, and will vary depending on the number of add-ons you have installed.

To install, type "CorrFixST.POD" near the top of the list, just below STARTUP.POD, and add 1 to the number at the top of the list.

The POD.INI file will now look like this, using the above example: (not case-sensitive)

---------------------------

20
STARTUP.POD
CorrFixST.POD
music.pod
sound.pod
truck2.pod
cockpit.pod
ui.pod
tpark.pod
alaska.pod
junk.pod
crazy98.pod
snake.pod
main.pod
aztec.pod
outback.pod
rockqry.pod
baja.pod
summit1.pod
summit2.pod
summit3.pod

-----------------------

The new pod's name has been added just below startup.pod, and the number increased by 1. Now save the file back in the MTM2 folder, being careful to save it as an .INI file, and not a .TXT file by accident.

Finally, take the CorrFixST.pod file that came in the zip file, and place it into your Monster Truck Madness 2 folder. Finished!

The convertor will only affect the tracks listed in the "CorrFixST_track-list.txt" file included in the ZIP file. Install the add-on tracks to the POD.INI list same as you did the convertor, except place the track names at the bottom of the list. Don't forget to increase the number at the top of the POD.INI file by one for every additional POD name added to it.

===================================

NOTE that regular monster trucks with huge tires will appear to sink into the ground on ST-converted tracks. Reverse the above procedure to run monster trucks on the listed add-on tracks once again.

====================================

TIP: I recommend you make a copy of your stock POD.INI file, and store it somewhere in another folder. If you ever make a mistake podding trucks/tracks, and can't get the game to run, then just replace the duplicate POD.INI file back into your MTM2 folder to start over.
