Welcome to my new Links page :)

Well, in the past I've been pretty slack with regards to maintaining an up-to-date links directory here, and when it's not up-to-date, it loses all usefulness. With some gentle goading by ShadowPrincess I've finally decided to get around and give the thing a long-overdue revamp, to point to some of the most important portals and sites for MTM2: playing, modding, and community. If you find anything broken, or want to suggest something I should add, feel free to wail at me, so that I might get my lazy arse into gear and fix it :-)

    Tr?ck Building Resources
  • The Monster Truck Madness Guild: The MTMG has stood for many years as MTM2's foremost resource site, and it is around this site which the MTM2.com empire has grown. Today it is perhaps a little dated in places, but there is nothing about the game this site doesn't cover.
  • Malibu350's Garage: As well as being Malibu350's very own site, the "Tools 'N' Tutes" section (look for the "T-N-T" link) is a fantastic resource with its categorised list of program downloads, tutorials and guides.
  • Truck Repaint Tutorial: Want to make your very own trucks? Starting out is easier than you think.
  • Leg's Auto-Parts Emporium: Large site of ready-made parts for the truck builder wanting to customise his or her rides.

    Community
  • MTMG Forums: The first stop for help and support with making and using MTM2 addons.
  • mtm2online.com and mtm2tournaments.com: All the info and schedule for online racing and rumbling tournament action.

    D2S rates
  • ShadowPrincess's site: ShadowPrincess is host of MTM2 racing tournaments. She's a fellow Aussie too :)
  • Replica Fan's Garage: Rep Fan is a truck builder, and as you might guess, his site features heavily on the many replica trucks he's authored. He likes old Buicks too.
  • Team OLD: Nothing special really, I just needed a gap filler :)
  • KC's MTM Place: KC's site is a leviathan, supporting multiple communities for several different games. The MTM section is one of the most enduring MTM2 sites, with its own discussion forums and extensive track and truck download archives.

  • AMT: Aussie and Kiwi Monster Trucks Gallery: This is a website set up between myself and my friend Mark Hurley to feature photos and news of monster truck events in the southern hemisphere, and present the unique story of each and every Australian and New Zealand monster truck.
  • The MTM2 Truck Making Tutorial (mirror site) (archive): This website was an early effort to explain, in full, how to make your own customised MTM2 trucks. Now dramatically outdated due to the development of new and much improved editing programs and utilities, and some of the information it contains is just plain wrong, but still it provides some useful reading material and tips for builders... not to mention being a sort of time capsule of the way we were!
  • The BINedit Resource (archive): Also outdated, this website details (exhaustively) the whys and wherefors of using the BINedit (v0.9) model editor, for building MTM2 trucks. Made obsolete by the advent of the feature-enriched and enhanced Binedit v2+.
