BINedit Shortcut Buttons

BINedit has a bar of shortcut buttons positioned under it's menu items. You can click on a blank space on this bar and drag it to a different position, and even detach it from the program's menu bar completely, in which case it becomes a floating window (as shown here) that can be positioned anywhere you want (to reattach it, just drag it back onto the menu bar).

All of these buttons mimic functions described in the menus - they just provide quicker access to frequently used commands.

Open Open [Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+O] - Brings up a dialog box which allows you to select and load a .BIN model.

Toggle Play Toggle Play [Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+P] - Auto-rotates the current model in the 3D view. This basically just allows you to look over your work.

Fit to 3d-view Fit to 3D-view - Will zoom the model view to fit the 3D window. This operation is carried out automatically whenever a .BIN model is loaded.

Wireframe Wireframe - Renders the 3D model as a series of lines bounding each face:

Solid Solid - Renders the 3D model in flat faces which are shaded according to their facing toward a light source:

Textured Textured - Renders the 3D model fully mapped to its textures:

Follow Current Face Follow Current Face - When checked the 3D view will center to the currently selected face, so as you cycle through faces the view will change to centre on the selected face.

Delete Face Delete Face [Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+X] - Deletes the current face. This may leave some vertices unused on the model, which should be removed using Delete All Unused Vertices.
